About Intelligence Bureau –
The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is India’s internal intelligence agency that It was recast as the Central Intelligence Bureau in 1947 under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Intelligence Bureau garners the intelligence from within India and also executes counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks. The Bureau comprises of employees from the law enforcement agencies which are mostly from the Indian Police Service (IPS) or the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and the military.

Eligibility Criteria for the Intelligence Bureau Recruitment –
Higher Secondary (12th) with Mathematics and Physics
Two years of Industrial Training Course
From a recognized Institute in Radio Technician
Electronics and Communication
Candidate’s age should be Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years ( as on 6th August 2016 )
For the OBC Candidates : 3 years
For SC/ST Category Candidates : 5 years
Selection Procedure –
Candidate’s selection will be based on a Written Test and a Trade Test.
Application Fees –
Candidates belonging to the General / OBC category have to pay Rs. 50/-
This payment needs to be done through Challan
All the SC / ST and female category candidates are exempted from the payment of the examination fee

Mode of Payment –
Applicants who are required to pay the application fee need to deposit it in Cash at any branch of State Bank of India
This needs to be done using the Challan form which is available in part‐II of the online application
The applicant will be required to take a printout of the Challan form and deposit the application fee in Cash at any branch of the State Bank of India
A counterfoil of the Challan would be given back to the candidate by the bank indicating the transaction details
