Common Written Examination will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in November/ December 2016 & January 2017. The Last date for online application is 12th September 2016.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification: 

  • Degree in any discipline from a Govt. Of India recognised University or any equivalent qualification (Graduation) recognized as such by the Central Government
  • The result should have been declared on or before 12.th September 2016
  • Operating and working knowledge in computer system is mandatory
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which a candidate wishes to apply is preferable

Selection Process:

The Selection process will be based on the Online Preliminary and Main Examination.

Pre-Requisites for Applying Online are as follows:

(i) scanned photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) and signature adhere to the claimed specifications as given in the official advertisement

(ii) The signature that is in CAPITAL LETTERS will not be accepted

(iii) Keep all the essential details and documents handy to make the online payment of the application fees

(iv) Ensure that you have a valid and personal email ID that should be kept active till the announcement of  the results

(v) IBPS will be sending call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered email ID

(vi) Under no situation, should a candidate share the mention email ID to / of any other individual

(vii)  If a candidate does not have a valid and personal email ID, in that case, he / she should create his / her new email ID before applying for any position online and must also maintain that account.
