Institute of Banking Personnel Selection IBPS Recruitment 2019-2020

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, popularly known as IBPS, is an autonomous agency in India. IBPS started its operation in the year 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS) and in the year 1984, IBPS became an independent entity at the request of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks. It is envisioned as a self-governed academic and research-oriented Institute.

In 2011, IBPS had announced a Common Written Examination (CWE) for all its recruitment of officers and clerks in Indian banks. IBPS CWE is now a mandatory test for anyone who seeks an employment in any of the 29 public sectors and/or regional rural banks. IBPS periodically accepts exam applications from candidates at their website, and the exams are organized at various locations throughout the country in online mode.
