The contestants who are really interested in getting a job in the Government sector must go through the following steps and analyze who they want to go about:

Identification of your own choices –

The candidates applying for any government job first need to identify their own self i.e. how they are as an individual and then list down the career options that they think they will best suit them.

Research –

Just doing an average and an indefinite research won’t be of any help to the candidate. Candidates who will be sure of applying for the government jobs should know about:

the companies they are applying for,

their exam patterns,

the marking structures,

further, should know about the interview patterns,

employment rules (contract basis or regular basis) should also be clear

Make quick rehearsals in front of a live audience so you can prepare yourself in a better way. Be honest, punctual, and well-mannered to everyone you talk to. The presence of mind and alertness are really significant.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria depends upon the nature of each of the government jobs and also varies from the departments. Make sure you check all the eligibility criteria before applying for a job. Each post has an official notification or advertisement that provides more information. Hence the candidate has to be fully eligible to apply for the post. Usually, there are certain common criteria.

  • If the posts are related to a lower grade, then the candidate must be HSC Pass.
  • If the jobs are related to a middle grade then the candidate must be a Graduate.
  • And if the posts are related to any higher grade than a candidate must be a Post-Graduate along with required experience.
  • Experience also is a big thing and positively counts and is considered by the various government departments.
