Selection Process for the Punjab National bank Recruitment:
Selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of On – Line Test and/or Interview.
Online Test Syllabus for Punjab National bank Recruitment is:
1. Reasoning – 50 Questions 50 Marks

3. Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Questions 50 Marks
4. Professional Knowledge (relevant to the Post) – 50 Questions 75 Marks

How to Apply Punjab National Bank Vacancy:
Interested Candidates may apply for the vacancies only through Online mode at the official website www.pnbindia.in from 23rd August 2016 to 9th September 2016.
No other mode of application will be accepted.
The candidates can apply only for one post and not multiple.
Pre – Requisites before applying online –
Candidates should scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both of them adhere to the required specifications as per the official advertisement.
Keep the necessary details and / or documents for Online Payment of the application fee / intimation charges handy.
Candidates must have a valid personal email ID, which should remain active until the completion of this recruitment.
Bank may send the call letters for Examination etc. through this registered e – mail ID.
Under no condition, a candidate should share / mention email ID of any other person.
In case, a candidate doesn’t have a valid an individual email ID, he / she should create his / her new e – mail ID before applying on-line and must keep that email account maintained.
Bank transaction charges for the Online Application Fees / Intimation Charges payment will have to be borne by the candidate.
Procedure for Applying Online –
Candidates first need to go to the Bank’s official website www.pnbindia.in and click the option that says “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE” and open the OnLine Application Form.
To register the application, candidates will enter the basic information on the online application form.
After that, a provisional Registration Number and Password will be produced by the system and displayed on the candidate’s screen.
Applicant should note down that Provisional Registration Number and Password securely.
An Email and SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent to the candidate.
Applicants can re-open the saved data using their Provisional Registration Number & Password & also edit the particulars if needed. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications
Candidates are recommended to thoroughly fill in the online application form themselves as no change in any of the fields in the application will be possible / entertained later.
Prior to the submission of online application, candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to confirm the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
Strictly no change is allowed after clicking on the FINAL SUBMIT Button.
Visually Impaired contestants are responsible for carefully verifying / getting the details filled in, on the online application form. They should get it properly checked and ensure that the same are correct prior to submission of the application form as no change is possible after submission.
Applicants should accurately fill in the details on the Application form at the appropriate places and after assuring it to 100% carefully click on the “FINAL SUBMIT” button at the end of the Application.
Before pressing the “FINAL SUBMIT” button, candidates are advised to verify every field on the application form.
The name of the candidate or his / her father / husband etc. should be spelled correctly in the application as it appears on the certificates / mark sheets.
Any change or alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
In case, a candidate is not able to fill the application form at one go, he/ she can save the data already entered and fill it later.
Once the application form is filled in completely and verified accurately, the candidate should Final Submit the data.
Candidates can make the payment through online modes like Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / MasterCard / Maestro), Credit Cards, IMPS, Internet Banking, Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the computer screen.
After the Final Submission, an additional page of the application form gets displayed wherein the candidates may follow the instructions & fill in the essential details.
If the online transaction payment has not been successfully performed then the candidates are advised to log in again with their provisional registration number & password and pay the Application Fees / Intimation Charges online once again.
On the successful completion of the candidate’s transaction, an e – receipt will be generated by the system.
Applicants are requested to take a printout of this e-receipt and online application form for future references to the Punjab National Bank recruitment 2016.
